BHcare is a regional nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive and integrated system of care for adults, children and families who are struggling with mental health issues, substance use issues, or domestic violence.
The BHcare family of services includes: The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, Parent Child Resource Center, and Alliance for Prevention and Wellness.

Bridges is unique in its ability to offer care and treatment for the whole family, children and adults, in the same location, which can make it easier to access services and afford better outcomes for all. As the state-designated Local Mental Health Authority for Milford, Orange and West Haven, Bridges offers recovery-focused services to support individuals with severe and prolonged mental illness and addiction problems. Several of our programs extend to serve residents of the surrounding communities of Ansonia, Bethany, Derby, Seymour, Shelton, and Woodbridge.

Latino Behavioral Health System (LBHS): The overarching goal of the CT LBHS is improved behavioral health care through the permanent expansion and enhancement of culturally relevant treatment alternatives for the Latino population of Connecticut. Rushford is one of Connecticut’s leading providers of addiction and mental health treatment programs for teens and adults. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and have received national recognition for our success in delivering high quality prevention and treatment programs. Rushford is a designated Local Mental Health Authority for the Meriden/Middletown region, providing comprehensive services for individuals suffering from serious mental health disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and others.

Turnbridge: The Turnbridge Women’s Program is a gender-responsive residential program that provides treatment for young women recovering from addiction, trauma, eating disorders, and other co-occurring mental health disorders. This comprehensive program addresses the unique ways in which addiction affects the physical, mental, and emotional health of young women.
