Bridgeport Hospital: Mental Health Services. Emotional or mental pain can hurt just as deeply as physical pain. And, like physical pain, symptoms shouldn’t be ignored. Franklin S. DuBois Center (FSDC): Serves the greater Stamford/Norwalk area. FSDC is responsible for providing ongoing, individualized treatment to persons living in the community with severe behavioral health disorders who are publicly insured, uninsured and in some cases underinsured. All services offered at the F. S. DuBois Center are aligned with the Commissioner’s initiative to move our practice to one offering Community Support and Recovery Pathways. At the end of the day, people ought to have more advanced skills for self-management. Within many areas of service at FSDC, Peers have become integral components. Greater Bridgeport Community Mental Health Center (GBCMHC): The Hospital Services Division offers an array of services to meet the needs of individuals, 18 years of age and older with prolonged psychiatric and co-occurring illnesses, who require hospitalization due to acute exacerbation of their symptoms and for those requiring continued rehabilitation before returning to the community. Southwest Community Health Center, Inc. SWCHC offers a Discounted Fee Schedule Program for patients who do not have insurance or whose income is below 200% of the Federal Poverty level. The amount of the fee discounted is based on your family size, income, and determined based upon annual established Federal Poverty Level income guidelines. A patient must complete an application for the discounted fee program and provide income verification, (last 2 paystubs, copy of entitlement checks, W2, etc.). SWCHC recommends that all new patients call the main number (203) 330-6000 for more information on required documentation.

If you’re having an emergency mental health crisis at any time, visit our Emergency Department with a new Behavioral Health designated treatment area. You’ll see a board-certified psychiatrist who is available 24/7. If your situation is dangerous to yourself or to others, we may advise psychiatric evaluation.

Triangle Community Center (TCC) is Fairfield County’s leading provider of programming and resources to nurture growth and connection within the LGBTQ community.
Triangle Community Center serves over 300 individuals who utilize its programs and services on a regular basis as well as over 5000 members of the Fairfield County community who attend a TCC program or event at least once a year. While our primary service area is Fairfield County, we often see people travel from Westchester, New Haven, and Litchfield counties to attend one of the programs we offer. TCC’s key target population is the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County, however, we welcome all who seek our services and have many clients who do not identify as LGBTQ.
