RIPPLE is currently working within the mental health and addiction services system, we are a nonprofit organization fully incorporated and operating as a 501(c)(3) as determined under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Our staff is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those living with addiction and mental health challenges.
We are peers who have lived experience with mental illness, addiction, or both, and as a result of this some of us have experienced imprisonment. This gofundme will remain active for donations from our community. Many people have offered to help us in the past and we are truly grateful for all of your support.
Any money raised through this method will be used to provide materials for peers in the community as well as travel reimbursement for the presentations we offer. As volunteers all expenses currently come completely out of pocket. While we are happy to give what we can this practice is not sustainable.
