Affordable Care Act (ACA) Enrollment Assistance for LGBT Communities: This resource guide assists health professionals with helping lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people understand health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act, particularly mental health and substance use benefits and services, and enroll in plans.

Anchor Health Initiative: is a health care provider offering medical services to everyone in the community with particular expertise in the area of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Transgender medicine. Anchor Health Initiative offers a welcoming, supportive and safe environment for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) community. For many, simply knowing that allies exist can be a big source of support.

Circle Care Center: Our Mission is to provide the highest quality services to our patients in Southern Connecticut specializing in primary care for people living with HIV, the LGBTQ community, as well as HIV prevention (PrEP & PEP), Hepatitis C and STI testing and treatment.
Circle Care Center is a primary care practice with a specialty pharmacy on site. In addition to primary care, Circle Care Center provides stigma-free STD/infectious disease testing, treatment, and prevention.

It Gets Better Project: The It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe.
Growing up isn’t easy, especially when you are trying to affirm and assert your sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It can be a challenging and isolating process – but, the good news is, no one has to do it alone.

Kids in Crisis – Lighthouse: Lighthouse serves lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) teens and their allies with a welcoming, safe space weekly meeting.
Lighthouse encourages LGBTQ youth to live their best, healthiest and most authentic lives. Teens can drop in to share life experiences and feelings, socialize, snack, and share common bonds, in Lighthouse’s confidential, non-threatening environment. Lighthouse also hosts guest speakers, trips, barbecues, parties and movie nights. Lighthouse empowers LGBTQ youth to clarify issues, gain skills and resiliency, and envision and seek healthy, productive, and fulfilling adult lives.
Kids In Crisis: provides emergency shelter, crisis counseling, and community education programs for children of all ages and families facing crisis.
Crisis can can include domestic violence, mental health concerns, homelessness, substance abuse, economic difficulties, and other critical challenges. The Kids In Crisis Helpline is staffed 24 hours a day with trained Crisis Counselors, and provides free, confidential phone and face-to-face intervention, counseling, and referrals. Since its founding in 1978, Kids In Crisis has provided vital 24-hour services to more than 148,000 children and teens, and their families. Lambda Legal (Main Site) – Lambda Legal (Connecticut Site) is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we do not charge our clients for legal representation or advocacy, and we receive no government funding. We depend on contributions from supporters around the country.
LGBT Aging Issues Network (LAIN) a constituent group of the American Society on Aging, works to raise awareness about the concerns of LGBT elders and about the unique barriers they encounter in gaining access to housing, healthcare, long-term care and other needed services.

Safe Place is a national youth outreach and prevention program for young people under the age of 18 (up to 21 years of age in some communities) in need of immediate help and safety. As a collaborative community prevention initiative, Safe Place designates businesses and organizations as Safe Place locations, making help readily available to youth in communities across the country. STOMP Out Bullying: is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to changing the culture for all students. It works to reduce and prevent bullying, cyberbullying and other digital abuse, educates against homophobia, LGBTQ discrimination, racism and hatred, and deters violence in schools, online and in communities across the country.
In this diverse world, STOMP Out Bullying promotes civility, inclusion and equality. Triangle Community Center (TCC) is Fairfield County’s leading provider of programming and resources to nurture growth and connection within the LGBTQ community.
Triangle Community Center serves over 300 individuals who utilize its programs and services on a regular basis as well as over 5000 members of the Fairfield County community who attend a TCC program or event at least once a year. While our primary service area is Fairfield County, we often see people travel from Westchester, New Haven, and Litchfield counties to attend one of the programs we offer. TCC’s key target population is the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County, however, we welcome all who seek our services and have many clients who do not identify as LGBTQ.
